University of Liverpool Schools Classics Project and Liverpool College: Greek Academy FREE GREEK LESSONS FOR YRS 9-13 STUDENTS
The University of Liverpool Schools Classics Project and Liverpool College are delighted to announce a new collaborative initiative, the Greek Academy. The Academy will offer free classical Greek lessons to linguistically talented students in yrs 9-13 from schools in Merseyside. Teaching will be provided by Dr John Taylor, formerly Head of Classics at Tonbridge School and presently Lecturer in Greek and Latin Language at the University of Manchester. Dr John Taylor is the author of ‘Greek to GCSE’ and ‘Greek Beyond GCSE’ among other books.
Lessons will take place every Saturday, 10 a.m.-12.30 p.m., at Liverpool College and will run from January to July 2016, starting Saturday 9 January 2016.
