Alexander the Great holiday history

Holiday History Camp for Secondary School students (aged 11-18) taking place at Wolfson College, Cambridge August (19th-20th).

You will be introduced to the expeditions and conquests of Alexander the Great through the text of Arrian (2nd century CE). You will make electronic maps of his journey using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software, while also discussing key issues such as heroism, politics, empire and conquest. At the end of the two days you will receive a certificate of participation.
