This event will feature screenings of a substantial number of silent films set in ancient Greece or Rome with piano accompaniment, and discussion of them with Maria Wyke (UCL), Pantelis Michelakis (U. of Bristol), Nick Lowe (RHUL), Bryony Dixon (BFI) and British Museum staff.
